Mater organised Blood Donation Drive

Blood Drive: Crumlin Road Gaol, Thurs 15th December 2016
Please come and give the gift of life this Christmas
This is Conor who will be two years of age in January. Conor has relative connections with a number of our clubs in Antrim, namely Ruari Ogs Cushendall, Roger Casements Portglenone and Con Magees Glenravel. Conor was diagnosed with leukaemia in August 2016.
He is currently undergoing some pretty intense chemotherapy to kill the cancer that circulates through his body. He has been so brave through it all. His family and friends are so keen to help him through this but there is little they can do…. The cancer is his battle. They can only be there to support and cuddle!
However…. There is something we can all do to help Conor and others like him. His blood count has dropped many times due to his treatment and he has needed many blood transfusions to help him through.
Colleagues of Conor's Mother have kindly organised a blood donation session in the Crumlin Road Gaol site. Eligible donors can drop in any time from 09:30 to 16:30. Your gift of life would be very much appreciated by, Conor, his family and friends and many others.
Come on Antrim Gaels spare a little time on Thursday 15thDecember and if eligible PLEASE COME ALONG AND DONATE BLOOD.
